Harmful Content Reporting Procedure
Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Version 1.0 · Version 1.0
1. Why this procedure exists
MIND-IDIA has no chat, messaging, user uploads or public profiles, so players cannot post content or contact each other. Harmful content could only come from our own question library or media, or from outside the service. This procedure explains how we handle any report. It supports the reporting duties in Article 10(1)(g)–(i) of the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on Child Digital Safety (official text), and the safety expectations of EU, UK and US law.
2. What to report
- A question, image, video or sound that is unsuitable for the age group, offensive, frightening, discriminatory or wrong.
- Any sign that a child is being harmed, exploited or put at risk, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) anywhere connected with MIND-IDIA.
- A child profile you believe was created without a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Anything that breaks our Terms of Use or Children's Privacy & Safety policy.
Please give the game name and what you saw. Do not send us copies of illegal images. Describe them instead.
3. How to report to us
- Email support@mind-idia.com (subject "Safety concern").
- Game Hub: "Report a safety concern".
- Any game: "Report this question".
Children should tell a parent or trusted adult, who can report for them.
4. What we do and how fast
| Type | Our action | Target time |
|---|---|---|
| Suspected CSAM, or a child at risk of harm | Remove or disable at once, keep a secure record, report to the authorities (section 5), and do not alert any suspected offender | Same day, within 24 hours |
| Harmful or age-unsuitable content | Switch it off while we review, then fix or delete it | Switched off within 24 hours, review within 48 hours |
| Profile created without permission | Pause, contact the account holder, delete if not confirmed | Within 48 hours |
| Wrong or unfair question | Review and correct | Within 5 working days |
We reply to the person who reported, unless doing so could put a child at risk or harm an investigation.
5. Reporting to UAE authorities
When a report concerns the UAE or a UAE user, and involves CSAM, a child at risk, or other harmful content that may be a crime, we:
- Call 999 (UAE Police) if a child is in immediate danger.
- Report through the Ministry of Interior's eCrime platform (ecrime.ae) or to the local police.
- Contact the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Centre on 116111 for child-welfare concerns.
- Follow any instruction from the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), the UAE Media Council, the Ministry of Family or the Public Prosecution to remove content or provide information, as required by law (Article 10(1)(h)–(i)).
We share only the information the authority needs. Personal data is disclosed only under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) or where the law requires it. The UAE is still issuing detailed rules under the Child Digital Safety law. We will update this procedure when they are published.
6. Reporting in other countries
- Netherlands / EU: Offlimits (the Dutch hotline for online child sexual abuse) and the police (112 in an emergency).
- United Kingdom: the Internet Watch Foundation (iwf.org.uk) and the police (999).
- United States: NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) and the police (911).
- Elsewhere: the local police or national child-protection hotline.
7. Records and privacy
We keep a record of each report: date, type, action taken, authority contacted and outcome. Safety records are kept for up to 2 years, or longer if an authority asks us to or a legal claim is open. Records are seen only by the people handling the report. Illegal images are never stored or forwarded by us except as an authority directs.
8. Review
We review this procedure at least once a year, and when UAE implementing rules are issued. Next scheduled review: 1 December 2026.
